I recently crept up dusty rickety stairway of the Swiss Institute in Soho to see a Fischli/Weiss exhibit. Knowing a little about Switzerland I expected a rather clean and orderly place with sharp lines and technology; instead I refreshingly found an old loft that remained completely unconverted and filthy. I read about the show in New York Magazine and it was in its final days when I finally got there. Peter Fischli and David Weiss posted these words in their work room to keep order amongst their explosions and videos and other uncategorized projects.
